I wonder why on Earth it has taken humans hundreds if not thousands of years to emerge with this truely beautiful but simple understanding of this way of being with the horse, or with any animal or even with ourselves for that matter. I completely understand Klalus' explanation given about some current horsemanship 'techniques' and feel deeply, deeply sadened for the horses that are treated this way, and that the people perpetuating this type of training seem to be unaware of the splitting of the soul from the horse. It makes perfect sense to me to hear Klaus say that this is what is happening. Because I know people who have horses trained through this type of method and these are not happy horses. They are sad, distant and even depressed, vacant, occasionally angry and rebellious to the point of dangerous. For me this is not the way to have a relationship with a horse (or a human). Thanks for prividing the clip Petra, JO ROSS |
